Meet Tassia Shaye
My path to becoming a doula began when a dear friend asked me to support her during the birth of her son. Stepping into that role felt natural and deeply meaningful—I knew this was the work I was meant to do. Her son turned two this March, and I continue to cherish the experience of supporting her through such an important moment in her life.
I have completed my Birth Doula training through DONA International and am currently working toward full certification. I am actively completing the final requirements of my program. Looking ahead, I plan to continue my education and pursue a career as an OB nurse in the coming years.
As your doula, I strive to be a calm, steady, and reliable presence throughout your birth experience. I am not there to replace your partner, but to support both of you—helping you feel confident, informed, and grounded. Birth is something you will carry with you for the rest of your life, and in those most intense moments, I aim to be an anchor you can rely on.
I believe that no two births are the same. My goal is to help you feel empowered to make the decisions that are right for you and your family. I work in collaboration with your healthcare team, respecting their medical expertise while providing continuous emotional and physical support every step of the way.
I would be honored to support you during your birth journey. If you’d like to learn more or see if we’re a good fit, please reach out to schedule a consultation.
As Your Doula
I am not a magic cure, but I am a steady, calm presence for you and your partner. Whether it is your first birth or your tenth, my goal is to ensure you feel empowered and fiercely supported through every transition.
Through the Lens
I save the camera for the chapters surrounding your birth. I specialize in Maternity, Newborn, and Family photography, capturing the quiet strength of motherhood and the joy of coming home.
My boys start kindergarten in the fall of 2026. If you’re curious about my birth story or how I can support yours, let’s connect.
